We had to go to a family wedding so I took a side trip to Kauai since I like it there and then we were forced to go home to Oahu which is an even bigger mess than it was ten years ago. I know some good spots there but overall I will never live on that island again. I love Kauai, I never miss a chance to go there, my mom’s good friend is there and she goes there a lot. So vehicles first I guess. I got this trail rated Compass, it was ok, the island is infested with new white Wranglers so I couldn’t be seen in one, years ago it was all convertible Mustangs, and you still see those rentals but the Jeep thing is out of control:
Some local DOTS, I also know a friend of the family with some military vehicles on a farm. That pacific landing craft could be worth a fortune if it was restored, but they are huge and difficult to move. But you could probably sell it for close to a million in good shape, I know a British dealer sold one for a museum in Oz for close to a million:

Yeah it’s a good one, it’s always fun to watch tourists try to drive out there in a fully loaded sedan haha. The water can be very dangerous, not for beginners !
